How it works

Five steps from idea to installed.

  1. Identify

We review your district’s rurality, poverty data, needs, and timelines, then match you to the programs you can actually win.

  2. Design

Our engineers build an equipment and budget plan that is grant-eligible line by line, so nothing gets cut at review.

  3. Apply

Our specialist grant partners write and package the application with your team. You approve every word.

  4. Deploy

After the award, we purchase, stage, install, and train inside the grant’s rules and deadlines.

  5. Report

We provide the invoices, asset lists, and documentation your program officer and auditors will ask for.

FAQ

Grant questions, answered.

Does InCare write the grant?

We partner with leading grant specialists who identify, write, and manage applications for private, nonprofit, and public clients. We design the eligible technology plan and budget, and they package the narrative with your team.

Is there a cost to see if we qualify?

No. An eligibility conversation with your InCare rep is free and doesn’t commit you to anything.

What does the RUS DLT grant cover?

Hardware, software, licenses, installation, training, and maintenance for distance learning and telemedicine. It is scored on rurality and poverty, with a special consideration announced each year.

Which security grants do you support?

Since 2019 we have helped K-12 applicants with the DOJ COPS School Violence Prevention Program (SVPP) and the BJA STOP School Violence program, plus state safety funds.

Can businesses and nonprofits use grant assistance?

Yes. Rural health providers, libraries, colleges, and nonprofits are eligible for programs such as RUS DLT, and our grant partners also work with private-sector clients.

How long does the process take?

Most federal programs run on an annual cycle: a notice, a 45–90 day application window, and awards several months later. Starting early gives you the best score.
